We'll have woken up to soylent green by then.

well, in 1941 when my father esaped his camp Eichstatt I think, he got completely soaked swimming  the Kiel Canal

found some food ( forest mushrooms) and was immediiately sick and was rather thankful to be arrested ( and was passed around various police sections)

In Matrix, they have matrix protein goo dont  they?

I'm quite open to insect protein, I eat a lot of mushrooms but would get fed up of them if they were the sole source of protein.

Bugs can be cooked in many different ways with different textures

Fungi, no problem. I love mushrooms to eat anyway and this year I won 1st prize at our village show for my cream of chestnut mushroom soup.  Stiff opposition and a class of 18 entrants.

Just thought I'd mention it!   (I'm immensly proud!)

Jourdain2,

Congratulations! Well done.

Well done, Jourdain. I do love a village show but have the sense to never be a judge 😁

I've eaten curried cricket - a tasty dish.

I think fungi are probably 95%+ water so you'd have to eat a lot to get a decent amount of protein.

The SAS Survival Handbook will tell you EVERYTHING that is edible. And I mean everything.
