The book is much better judge. The problem is that the film was at a time when the shuttle was the thing and as is usual with Bond films they try and have the topical stuff in it. Moonraker is one of the worst bond films but the real worst for me was sky fall. Who ever let Mendes direct a Bond wants their bumps felt. Sad because they had a great villain in Bardem.
