When Will You Take Your Christmas Cards Down?
I'm itching to remove mine but thinking it might be a bit early.

One friend called me on 23rd Dec and said thank goodness you're still here as I answered the phone. I told her she should have had my Christmas card by now but she hadn't and thought I might have died. Got a message the next day to say it had arrived.
Go to Norwich Cathedral and they keep their tree up to Canbdlemas. My theory was to recognise the Orthodox Christmas but the Dean corrected us saying that according to the Old Calendar, Christmas ends on Candlemas (Feb. 2) when it's the 'Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple'. They also considered it to be the mid-point of winter.
My cards will come down on Friday when I celebrate 'The Day when the Tanqueray Runs Out'.
