I didn't put them up!

I have one missing from an old pal - we moved far apart ages ago & only ever exchanged xmas cards since then. Is is dead or just lost in the post?

Usually remove them 2nd or 3rd January.

Binned mine this morning

Remove them when you like - mine were down 27th Dec.

Probably 5th January.. 😁

Dave, as an old lady with old friends, this is our annual check to know that we're still alive.  One friend called me on 23rd Dec and said thank goodness you're still here as I answered the phone. I told her she should have had my Christmas card by now but she hadn't and thought I might have died.  Got a message the next day to say it had arrived.

Day after boxing day

Never put them up.

They've already gone with the recycling on 27th.

I think they're going out of fashion.  The postage stamps often cost more than the card.

Hardly got any so not in the way.

More importantly when can I get the tree etc down/

Christmas ends on 6th January - Epiphany, the visit of the 3 Magi.  I'm practising 'We 3 Kings' amongs others for this Sunday. All decorations should be down by the 7th. In France the 6th it an excuse for another party with a special cake.

Boxing Day.

Boxing Day for me, too.

Go to Norwich Cathedral and they keep their tree up to Canbdlemas. My theory was to recognise the Orthodox Christmas but the Dean corrected us saying that according to the Old Calendar, Christmas ends on Candlemas (Feb. 2) when it's the 'Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple'.  They also considered it to be the mid-point of winter.

My cards will come down on Friday when I celebrate 'The Day when the Tanqueray Runs Out'.

They'll have to wait 'til after Friday, recycling bin is chokka full.

Still got mine up but got a friend coming tomorrow to walk my dog and then my hairdresser coming to cut my hair.  After they've been I'll remove my Christmas cards and then phone my florist and replace them with a large bouquet of fresh flowers.

Twelfth Night

about two hours ago, tree as well

Took mind down today. The tree will be coming down by Friday.
