connecting TV / DVD /Freeview / Video

Having recently disconnected my TV / video / dvd / freeview, I now think I've reconnected incorrectly as channel 5 is poor and I can't recored freeview.

Would someone explain in simple ABC terms, the procedure for connecting correctly, starting with airiel in ?...................

Scart from digi to video
scart from digi to tv
scart from TV to DVD

Spaced,what can you do if TV has only one Scart Socket (Like mine)? Thanks.

You can buy adapters at any high street electrical store, maybe woolies, which let you connect more than one scart to the same socket.

Spaced I must have mine wrong I have connected the scart to the tele, and also the aeriel from video to tele. I can watch videos, but not record, poss. this is why.
