Listening to The Archers last week I was surprised at the price of a pint of Shires in The Bull, was it £5?

£78.35 for two Sunday dinners in the same pub last November so a fiver a pint wouldn't surprise me. I paid more than that for a pint in a back street boozer in Norfolk a few years ago

£2.70 on Mondays at one pub I go to, a pound more other nights. Quite a variation at my village pub, £4.60+.
