Anyway, back to the thread.

> What's his real game.???.

"Kekius Maximus" is mainly enjoying himself by winding up the type of people who are prone to be wound up.  At the same time, as a side benefit, he is getting more advertiser eyeballs on Twitter at a time when many people have been leaving that platform.

Or he's just the dead-eyed wierdo kid who pulled the wings off flies in school who made good and now has a 'platform'.

"Why isn't the news section included here?"

because news is a section that is full of opinion. khandro for instance has a thread going right now which falsely asserts that muslims were behind the cancellation of new year celebrations in edinburgh. many posters frequently push their own opinions as though they are facts.

basically if news were included in that statement then they'd have to take down about half of what gets posted here lol.

very true ellipsis twitter is haemmhoraging users because the new management has permitted neonazi accounts back onto the platform and has encouraged the proliferation of bots. his "free speech absolutism" has also led to some extremely questionable content being posted.

i was using twitter/x before and after the purchase and the quality of the site has gone massively downhill. i deleted my account when i logged on one day and the first thing i saw was a video of a man getting his leg hacked off with a machete in sudan. that was a bit much even for me :/

Clone - Please don't.

I think the difference is that most people view gulliver1 as a chump with a very narrow world-view who bangs on about limited nonsense spun in his own inimitable style and they treat it with the contempt it generally deserves.

You, however, make it your business to drill down to the truth of a matter and post credible reports from a variety of sources and thus your comments carry more weight.

With great power comes great responsibility....😉

Untitled //what would your definition of far right be khandro?//

Authoritarianism & ultra-nationalism - as enacted by Vladimir Putin & his shower.

That description covers the extremes at both ends.

i thought you liked authoritarianism? you told me once how much you admired lee kuan yew and josip tito.

That is a lie.

I see Farage is starting to Panick a little now, and trying to distance himself from Musk .

You have a habit of misinterpretation, IMO.

"Untitled; I'd prefer to have a benevolent authoritarian in charge any day, than the milksop, ineffective leadership Britain has in both its government and its opposition.

...

The first that springs to mind is  Lee Kuan Yew, Prime Minister of Singapore from 1959 - 1990.

Then Tito of Yugoslavia"

so not a lie at all. you told me less than a year ago that you'd prefer to live under those people than you would to live under the UK government. you also told me that you considered authoritarianism to be preferable so long as you thought it was "benevolent".

so not lying.

No, Gulliver.  He's not distancing himself from Musk - only from Musk's support for Tommy Robinson.  You really do struggle with comprehension.

OG 11.37 If your answer is directed at me May I say Likewise.

You may say what you like

and often do.

Question Author

Naomi 11.43 Same difference.

No it isn't - not at all, Gulliver.  Farage doesn't agree with Musk on one issue - that's all.

Question Author

11.54 Naomi. You read into how you like ..But I think Farage is frightened of losing his crown .

untitled, nowhere in that thread does khandro say how much he admired lee kuan yew and josip tito.

I think I may have expressed light-hearted approval of Lee Kuan Yew's solving the problem of people dropping chewing gum onto the pavements of Singapore by imposing draconian fines for doing so, but that doesn't equate to the invasion a sovereign country.
