He looks to have admitted guilt.

He can run but he cannot hide.

 

I think we know why.

I know it won't be done, but it would be much easier to try him in absentia and for his host country to jail him.

Saves time and the British tax payers' money.

The wheels of justice grind so slowly that many (most?) suspected offenders are released on bail, or 'under further investigation'.

It mustn't have occured to the courts that this foreign national might be a flight risk...😲

As an immigrant they must've thought he'd fight like heck not to be on a flight out.

Yea they bend the policies to suit them
