Who else agrees? There was an interview with Brian May of ' QUEEN ' on Radio 4 this morning. They were asking him about the book he has written along with Sir Patrick Moore,on Astronomy. But I thought the whole interview was ruined by the constant playing of Queen's music in the background (at times it compleatly distorted the spoken word).
Why do they do this? It is the same with television's football clips, the music gets louder and faster, that the commentator has to try and shout over it as well as try to complete with the fastness of the music with the speed of his speech.
I couldn't agree more. I've just watched a natural history programme about migration. It was totally ruined the inane soundtrack & 'special' sound effects that were played. Why, oh why do the programme makers put these in !
