Should Holocaust Memorial Day Be Boycotted?
//A British Islamic organization that is linked to Iran and has consultative status with the U.N. Economic and Social Council is calling for a boycott of the U.K.’s Holocaust Memorial Day.
It is “morally unacceptable” that the war against Hamas in Gaza is not considered a genocide alongside the Holocaust, the London-based Islamic Human Rights Commission wrote in a letter it sent to 460 town halls and educational centers in the United Kingdom.//

Holocaust Memorial Day is marked in Britain on 27 January - this year 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz - and in my opinion cannot be compared in any way to the war in Gaza. As a human rights group, their time would be more usefully spent in lobbying Hamas to release the Israeli hostages it still holds - but I'd hazard a guess they're not doing it.

Any official boycott will merely show those who complied with it, in as bad a light as is possible.
The fact that an Islamic sect calls for it will just bring more public disgrace on Muslims generally, regardless whether they agreed or vehemently disagreed; so does that religion and it's adherents no favours at all. No doubt that is unfair to a great many of them who have integrated here, but life isn't fair.
Maybe if this Islamic sect instead called for a cessation of terrorist acts against Israel they may be listened to more.
Islamic Human Rights Commission, islam seems to have a rather large foothole in the uk, including asking for a blasphemy law, and all the gaza protests, does this group ever mention the plight of women in iran afghanistan and other islamic countries, it would seem they have no problem killing eachother, but wow be anyone who defends themselves against there barbarity.
You think our resident terrorist lovers would go to seek the truth?
This is part of the problem I suspect:
