candle wax

I bought a couple of candles which came in nice little ceramic pots. The candles have now burned out but I would like to refill the little pots with wax if possible (and thereby be able to use them again and again.
Can anyone tell me what I need to know about buying candle wax and also, I would be interested in dying the wax - is this possible and if so how do I do it?

Shivvy any craft store or department store that sells craft supplies will have the proper wax and the proper coloring to dye it and the wicks too. Hello again - it's Brenda:)
