Something new on the market from a Swiss company called No Normal Coffee - a spreadable paste made from coffee beans.  Apparently it looks like Marmite and can also be used with hot water to make a cuppa instead.

I think I'll give it a miss.

I'd try it. I remember thinking chocolate spread on bread was bizarre and I do like coffee cake

Quick Google, seems it is not particularly new.

Saw that article. Er, no. If I'm treating myself to carb laden toast I want something better on it than a coffee paste.

It sounds interesting...possibly useful in baking too.

Never knock it till you've tried it is a mantra I've never lived by.

What does it want to be? A spreadable paste or a Camp Essence wannabe?

Using it in baking sounds a good idea but I have a query about its strength of taste in a coffee cake tho :)

Someone else can buy it & I'll give it a whirl.
