Why do British politicians always think that this country has to set an example, whatever the financial cost? As though the rest of the world is going to follow,  when in reality they are saying more fool you! Isn't it time we left it to someone else for a change?

I think what were varying opinions in this country are very swiftly melding into like minds.  Labour voters are beginning to detest this government as much as Tory voters detest them.
