Good Morning Wednesday Birds!
Another week racing away at full speed - it'll be Friday before we know it! Or as someone said to me yesterday - they're still finding Christmas Tree pine needles in their carpet and yet it's February nxt week!
Looks sunny and bright outside at the moment- dont know if it will last but it's nice to see even if not for long. Need to get a move on and get something for MrSmows birthday present - it's nxt week! I still maintain that he is one of the hardest people to buy for! No hobbies, nothing....... grrrrrrr lol.
Have a great day everyone xx

Our new bed turned up yesterday, 2 lovely lads had it put together in three quarters of an hour, they also carried the mattress through from the spare room and put it on the bed even though we bought it from another Company. It is all so heavy we can't move it.
Mr U still quite unwell, barely eaten anything since Sunday, the infection has localised mainly in his mouth.
Good morning Smow. Sunny and blue skies here at the moment. Unlike ubasses we are forecast snow for tomorrow, so it looks like a stock up day today. So glad you got your bed sorted ubasses.
Have you thought of an "Experience Day" for Mr Smow's birthday. I have had two male friends of mine participate in them. One did off road driving, and the other flying aeroplanes on a flight simulator. Both thoroughly enjoyed their days out. Also you can choose when to do it, so does not have to be now in the bad weather.
Other suggestion is book a matinee show in London, (which I think you are quite near), and go for a meal afterwards.
That's my inspiration for the day! Enjoy yours ,and happy new year for the Year of the Snake.
Unexpectedly the GP phoned this morning to see how he is, thinks the infection is localising in his mouth causing such pain. Only had the antibiotics since Monday evening so they will need more time, they are apparently quite strong ones.
My theory is that when he took the pond and the pumps apart he hads breathed something nasty in through his mouth. The timing all fits.
