"You English moan about the Tories being in power for the past 14 years."

Not all of us do. And I think there may be a good number who did moan about it, "craved for change", voted for it and now regret that as well.

Of course i didnt mean your good self NJ.But up here in Scotland it is like some kind of Stockholm Syndrome.God knows who votes for these SNP thieves. The SNP heid-honchos dont give a damn for their useful idiots.I dont think there are any SNP supporters left on this site.Probably lying low.

I have to say I have used - "how much to get this to go away?"

sparingly ( five times in 30y?) One was Miss X loudly saying I had taken a works cheque and cashed it.... and then she said it again and the mgt got involved. Poking their noses around with clip boards - and then the cheque was found at the bottom of Miss X''s liddle iddle hand safe.

I had thought how on earth do I show I have NOT cashed a cheque?)

and SHE started sceaming  and a-hollerin'

and I thought 'shouldne this be me' ?

Oh and there was a council coup - council coo darlin: - and so I wrote a spoof about 21 knives of various sorts being found sticking out of he vice's chair. Not in PP but in real English so there was no " what dis all mean,  what dis?" O god no.

and one of the secretaries was a DRC refugee  ( survivor of Kigali etc ) and started sceamng and a-hollerin' when she read it . And I said OK how much to get this to go away ?
