I don't see why a submarine may not be described as a ship.

We refer to spaceships and airships, so why not an underwater ship?

In the Royal Navy, a ship is larger than a boat, a ship can carry a boat but a boat cannot carry a ship. I assune the answer was aircraft carrier.

Question Author

10:11 yes aircraft carrier is correct but what makes this a TWAU is that they named a boat not a ship but even if it was a ship how would a submarine be the largest vessel in the navy? If they'd have said almost any other ship this would not have been a TWAU.

If a question came up about Carol Decker would it be a TPAU?
