The video of a knife wielding man featured in a now missing post begs the questions:

Why bother getting a knife if you're going to kick,punch and spit on your target?

And

How can the citizen journalist be so calm in the face of  an apparently crazed attacker?

I don't know how folk so close to the assault could not intervene, let alone carry on filming it.

Someone else is always going to, so you don't need to get involved.

Unless you are trained to tackle someone with a knife you should steer clear.  The other problem is that even if you knew how to get the kife off him if it twisted into the attacker in the furore you can bet your bottom dollar you would be the one in jail, especially given the attackers religion.

The question is: Where were plod?

Not sure the 'citizen' journalist was so calm to be honest.

I doubt that he has been carrying the knife around with him.

If he didn't have the knife his victim would be more likely to kick and punch him back.

If the book burner turned out to be tougher than the knife wielder thought, he would have probably used it.

Regardless, the *** should instantly go to jail for 5 years (we know he won't though)
