They are real, but not particularly good. They most likely charge a fee for set up that is unlikely to get refunded. I have posted numerous times on this issue already, if you are interested have a search as oldwoman says.

They are brokers who will charge you to find a loan. The problem is that the fact you are going down this route means that your credit is likely to be blemished, therefore they will be unsuccessful in finding you a loan but they will keep the "fee" as they will have tried. Do not touch with a barge pole. They are not frauds as such merely unscrupulous as they take advantage (!) of people who have nad credit.
