Brad will be visiting an ancient Egyptian cooperage to check for any surviving scraped barrel bottoms.

All for the benefit of the septics. They love the wonderful world of total rowlocks.

"Bradley Walsh: Egypt's Cosmic Code charts Bradley Walsh's first trip to Egypt in search of answers to some of Ancient History's biggest mysteries - who built the pyramids, why and how?" - that's not a mystery, it's well known who and how.

Question Author

TTT, were you a Dementor in a previous life - or do you love being a misery?

I suspect "they" feel that Bradley's fans could do with some edukashun and this is the beginning. :))

I prefer my ancient history from Janina Ramirez, Dan Snow or Bettany Hughes anytime.

That programme looks like 'history for the dim'.

14:57 I'm the opposite, I shed light over obvious rowlocks, make people think about what they are being told. I am a crusader against TWWOTB I try to make people use their loaf instead of facilitating the peddlers of this sort of cobblers.

Or someone mis-read? Egypt's Comic Code?

The problem with the history channel is that it's gets contaminated with this sort of rubbish and actual history is becomming increasingly rare.

TWWOTB...??? Please don't tell me I should 'know'.

Question Author

Pasta, I think it's intended to entertain.

Question Author

TTT, you haven't seen it so you've no idea what conclusions are reached.  Do put a sock in it for goodness sake.  You are no crusader.

Naomi @15:07...maybe, but you'd think the History channel might present facts. But as you've mentioned, none of us have actually viewed it.

It's revealing that someone who believes in ghosts and that Aliens visited earth because of a passage in the bible uses a term from a childrens fantasy book! An ever more detailed picture is forming!

"TTT, you haven't seen it so you've no idea what conclusions are reached.  Do put a sock in it for goodness sake.  You are no crusader. " - not this attempt but I've seen the same thing in the past. Gawd they've been peddling this carp since they discovered the tomb of the boy king.

Question Author

Pasta, it might for all we know.

TTT, give it a rest.  We know what you think about something you haven't seen.  Let someone else - hopefully not so arrogantly bombastic - get a word in.

my mistake, I thought this was a discussion site.

Question Author

It is, TTT, and that means allowing other people to voice their opinions without being subjected to ridicule or abuse.  I put this up for information - not to provide a punchbag for you.

I have not abused or ridiculed anyone.

Question Author

No?  Try again.  Or on second thoughts don't.  You'll only repeat yourself as usual.

Perhaps if TTT explained the likely pyramid building process it would help those who didn't know they could have been built by humans, and saw aliens as the only alternative. I personally don't understand why aliens with obviously advanced technologies should engage in advanced masonry projects.
