African and Hispanic Americans had their own link.

African American History

Hispanic American History

There was no

White American History or European American History

Seems fair to me. It's about time Americans dropped the African or Hispanic bit, if you are American, you are American.

Some individual pages have been dropped but I doubt the dropping of particular pages was anything to do with Trump.

Agree with Spungle at 08:13 Mon.  These people aren't being forgotten or airbrushed out.  They're just not being elevated on the basis of who they happen to be.

Looks like some have entered TDS stage4, really need to get some medication for it.  In the eantime they could rty reading past the headline and MSM spin as see what really is said or done.  Usually its quirte different.

Trump is here to stay.  Suck it up buttercups.

My despair is not just about Trump's actions but the despicable attitudes of some members of this site. What a bunch of narrow minded and hate filled people.

pasta, what's narrow-minded and hate-filled in wishing all who died an equal measure of respect?

I'm all for eliminating 'DEI' nonsense from society and treating all fairly instead, but I'm unsure how this latest action is meant to achieve that.  Maybe it's that I've not appreciated the details but it seems to be simply a restriction of 'free information' at present.

This isn't about DEI...the pages referred to are,it appears, no longer accessible to those searching for information on those specific people.

It's not about modern issues of diversity, which do many seem to get their knickers in a twist over, but about learning about those who defended the country at a time when racism was an everyday occurrence. When people of colour were not acknowledged as equal, when lynching still happened.

Yes...if you are American, you are just American. But most Americans have been brought up to be proud of their roots. It used to be what made the country great...and a bit crazy.
