I have "The Good Will Out" by Embrace, which reminds me of a terrible terrible break-up I went through about 8 years ago. There was little communication on his part, so I really had no idea how he was feeling, and the split came as a real shock. But the songs on this CD seem to have been written by a man going through the same dilemma my ex was, so it's oddly comforting to listen to them and remember that he wasn't a monster, he was just a boy who didn't want what I wanted and who couldn't express himself, and so led me on without meaning to.
As much as I hate the ex, and the CD makes me sob, I'll never part with it.
