Perhaps hurricanes as they were very active in 2005?
If this is in the UK it could be flood warnings.

Ah! I take it the word impossible refers not to the question but rather the questioners. Anyway, surely by definition, the answer is more likely to be impossible than the question.

Is it the number of letters if you spell out 2005, ie: two thousand and five?
