Not as bad as I imagined Pippa, I didnt have a general anaesthetic, I had the local (not as much risk to the patient) the whole thing took about 15 mins and I was on my feet an hour later, although I couldnt move as fast as usual. I've had to have 48 hours as a couch potatoe : ( but there was no pain after just a slight discomfort, the worse part was when the surgeon put the needle in but as I said it was just a slight discomfort.
Tell MrPippa to go ahead with it and let me know how he gets on
