I have heard of a red letter day and believe it to be good, however when i get a red bill this is not good , can anyone explain?

you sum up the problem perfectly, a red letter day is both a good and bad day, it originates from intercourse with a partner whilst menstruating, the good part you got laid, the bad part the mess after, hope this solves your problem
