Citroen Saxo Radio Code

I know there's lots of answers about this but I thought I would get a faster answer if I asked again. My friend inadvertantly let his battery die and the radio is now asking for a code. What information do I need to find to ask for a code on here? Or what information would he need to take to a Citroen dealer? Thanks.

Drive the car into the dealer who will prob charge a small fee to look up the code - take some proof of ownership!

The only exception is that someone may have re-coded the radio in which case look in a free ads paper for someone who re-codes radios, they charge about a tenner.
