Do Mods and Rockers still converge on seaside towns on Bank Holidays anymore?

There was something about this on the news a few weeks ago due it being an anniversary - apparently they still dislike each other now

I think a number of scooter clubs do have rallies - a la 'Quadrophenia', but it's really just a mock up of the real thing. I remember my Ecconomics lecturer at college regaling with tales of his own college days in the '60's. The Mods all did catering, lots of sharp knives, and the Rcokcers all did car mechanics, lots of chains and spanners - you can imagine what the end-of-term party was like!

In Chatham, Medway, Kent- 'Bar M' they have a massive MOD gathering every week- the entire place swarms with 'em. Posted this just in-case you're near the area and wanted such info.
