Smart boots for girls with a low heel

I'm after a pair of black suede or leather boots that can be worn over skinny jeans or with skirts etc that are fashinoable. I'm tall and do not want anything that is high heeled as I don't want to tower over my blokie plus at the same time I do not want to look like i've got clown feet. Does anyone have any ideas of where I could try as I've tried most of the high street shops and have progressed onto the deisgners but I just can't justify �800 on a pair of boots!!!!!!!

i bought some beloved black flat 'leather' boots from primark recently for �12, and they are.....amazing! and for that price, you can throw them away when you get bored of them. so go check out primark! you can find some really good things in there if your scour it x

I got some similar 'pirate' style boots from George at Asda also for �12. The shop i visited had 2 styles of flat black calf/ knee length boots.
