belt trouble.please help!

whats the belt called on your car that runs the alternator,battery and water pump??? etc.mines just gone!

is it a vee belt or the flat type serpentine belt? what vehicle is it?

Its the fanbelt. They are only a few pounds from your local motorist shop where they sell all types or they can get them. The cost depends though on the car and the particular belt.

If there is a tensioner on the belt system it would be wise to change that as well. It may have been the cause for the original failure but if not it is good practice to change it anyway.
