Pardon me for asking but how do you know they are calcium deposits? It sounds an unusual place to get them....
Are you sure they're calcium deposits and not whiteheads? Too much calcium in the body can be due to taking excess amounts of Vitamin D - ask your GP to send you to a dietician.
I agree that it is unlikely that you have calcium deposits on your face. If they are hard and white then it is more likely to be dry flakes of skin protein (keratin). If not hard and dry they could be anything. Suggest you see a doctor
The calcium deposits on your face are known as milia (sp?) and has nothing to do with taking calcium. It has to do with the slow down of regeneration of the cell structure, they are benign cysts that don't go away by themselves. I read that alphahydroxcy acids and retinoids may help. It also said the dermatoligist can remove them. If they are still small I use a needle (sterilized and very careful as to have minimal damage to my skin) and open the top layer of skin and then you can usually get them out. That would be a personal choice if you do remove them yourself, I am not reccomending anyone do that and am not responsible if someone does, I am only telling you what I do because I don't and can't afford to go to the dermatologist every time I get one.
