excema
5 Answers
Over the last few days I've had a really itchy eye and neck - the skin is so dry and flakey (even though I'm applying Bio oil all the time) - I think it looks like Excema, however I've never suffered from this before.
I've also not changed any make-up or perfumes etc.
Any suggestions as to what this could be (if not excema) and the best way to treat it??
Thanks

See a dermatologist if it gets any worse and do not use any perfumed creams, oils, gels or makeup on it until it is completely gone. Also drink plenty of water.
I have suffered from it for over 20 yrs...dont go putting oil on it!
Buy aqueous cream over the counter at the chemist and apply it twice daily, this keeps you skin from cracking and getting dry, then apply an excema cream such as Eucerin or something else available from boots. if the excema gets worse consult your doctor as you can get stronger stuff from them.
Excema can be caused from stress or a change of diet..have u had any of these laterly? If so it might go away once you get back to an even kiln.
The colder weather generally makes it flare up
