Spooks
Does anyone else think that they are repeating themselves & losing their edge? I've watched Spooks from Series 1. Seeing Tom crack under the pressure was difficult to watch but compelling viewing but it now seems Adam is going the same way. When Zoe left I was shocked at the abruptness of it all (smacked of contractual problems with Keeley but that's just my opinion) & then Ruth went just as quickly. All we need now is for Zafar to be shot in the head whilst on a mission and my theory is proved. I know the actors are just doing a job and don't have to stay with a programme for ever but with so many cast changes it's becoming like a soap.

I actually thought it was quite weak reasoning when Tom left,he had done things that were much worse than manipulating that scientist.
I think Zoe and Ruth both left because the actresses were pregnant and pregnancy wouldn't work for their characters.

I didn't realise that the actresses were pregnant but both characters were written out within one episode. Didn't the writers realise? Also, Ruth pregnancy could have been written in - Harry's child?
Another point - are there only 5 officers in MI5 - is that why it's MI5?? They must be so busy sorting out strategy, operations, field work, interrogation as well as the paper work.
