MP3s on Home Stereo

I have 2 cds of mp3 files. They run on my computer but unfortunately get *data error* message when I run on my Sony DVD player capable of running mp3 files. Could someone help how I can convert these mp3 files so they can run on any device capable of playing mp3s. Please e-mail your help to [email protected]. Thanks, Gurjit

Just asked my bloke for you (he is the manager of Richer Sounds in colchester) and he said that sometimes Sony claim that their DVD can play mp3 when it can't!! What model have you got?

Download a program called Winamp. It can convert your MP3.s back to audio files and using a CD Writer you can make up CDs of these cda's.

type in the model and number of the player you have and also put in the word crack. i.e "Sony dvd398 crack". Put this into a search engine and it should help you

Thanks, The model of my Sony Dvd is DVP-NC615. Supposing the format of mp3 files is wrong and I don't have the source cd anymore. How can it be converted to proper mp3 format just from these 2 cds. They run without any problem on my computer cd rom.

there are (i think) 2 formats of mp3: the 'normal' one and mp3PRO. could this be the problem? if not, it could be the ID3 tags (artist, genre, track no) or something that the DVD doesnt like. The dvd crack that was mentioned will prob only let you play other regions, tho
