I currently have dial up internet and phone services on telewest , but I wish to take advantage of Sky's free broadband service

Is it correct that I would have to get connected to BT first and take their phone services ?

Yes, you need a bt line.

Contact BT to see if you have to have the phone services as well.

Before you do all this look on the Sky Broadband website to see if it's actually available in your area.

I wished to do this but it wasn't until I was told that the Sky Broadband unlimited package wouldn't be available in my area that I decided to stick with my dial-up connection.
