Names for a Puppy

We are getting her on Saturday and need inspiration - many thanks!

My cat was called George, we had animals called Wellies, Hutch, Shaka, Big Charlie, Robbie when we were growing up.

I am hoping to get a new cat over the next few weeks - I was going to call him something nice and Scottish. I liked Hamish, but my brother has called his son that, so I might call him Angus.

I went to a baby names site and just picked out the names that I liked.

Well! That is an easy one! Name her "Bill"! You will, after all, be paying the Bill........my Corgi, Bill, is now 14 and gitting somewhat elderly, not quite caught up to me yet, though! Bill is famous here in my town, Rural, Arizona, USA! Folks whom I do not even know approach up and say "Hi, Bill!" but haven't a clue as to who I am! I kind of enjoy that!

So, if you run out of options, name her "Bill"! Let me know if you took me up on that.....braggin' rights, y'know!

Hi Sally, I've just answered this in the Animals section!

What about Bonnie for a female puppy. I had two Jack Russells called Bonnie and Clyde once and they were real Jacks! Bonnie is nice by itself though.

call her maddison or klondike as when your in the park you will always find people asking questions when the dogs off its lead and when you shout the dogs name you dont get other peoples dogs

UPDATE!!

Thanks everyone for all your help. We collected the gorgeous puppy yesterday and have named her 'Pickles'.

She is really good and we even slept last night. Its so weird - like having a baby again (especially making up her formula milk!!)

I am totally in love!!
