UFOs

Probably been asked before,but has anyone seen one? Don't mean "Ooh I saw this light in the sky,and it was really bright" style thing. I mean,an object displaying non-ballistic movement. Up close.Reason I ask is that I saw something a few years back,and a friend of mine saw the same thing,only from the viewpoint of a few miles away.It was BIG,and I don't know how the hell it didn't make world wide headlines (He was a night-shift manager in a large shopping centre and at least 30 of his staff saw it with him)!

me and my mum saw something afew years ago hovering in the sky one night. It was quite low so you could see that is wasn't normal aircraft, and also could tell that it was massive in comparison to planes. Then it just shot accross the sky and disapeared out of view.

My brother and a couple of his mates saw a UFO at Glastonbury during the festival, watched it at dawn for about an hour, he seemed coninved though I suspect other causes!

I once saw the eeriest thing in the sky when I was living in the north-east 4 years ago. A group of 3 silver boomerang shaped objects hovering in the distance for about 10 minutes after which they completely disappeared from view. I had enough time to get my camera and take a picture and I still can not explain why I didn't photograph them. I just remember being really frightened of having a record of it in my possession.

It sounds as if what I've seen is similar (or the same) as the things described by spiff & annier. This happened about 15 years ago and it sounds extremely dodgy & far fetched but I'm absolutely convinced of what I saw. One night I woke up very suddenly, terrified (I don't know why) and straight away sat up & poked my head through the curtains, to look out of the window. I saw a HUGE 'craft' hovering above the houses. The craft looked quite dark but had a ring of lights around the lower part. The thing that left me completely pertified was that as soon as it dawned on me what I was looking at (understandably it took me a couple of seconds to get my head around it!) it shot off across the sky at a great speed - it was as if it knew that I knew. I know this could very easily be explained away as a dream, but as soon as the thing had disappeared I jumped off my bed & ran to my Mum & Dad's room so I really don't think I was asleep. I've though about it a lot over the years & am now pretty much certain that it was a UFO. I'd just like to add that I had absolutely no conscious interest at all in UFOs as a kid - it would've been much more likely for me to dream/hallucinate a giant hamster or some fairies, if anything!

it was in winter 1982 i was walking down the hill coming home from work when i noticed in the sky 6 objects floating above the tors in north devoni watched them for a few moments when suddenly they all seems to combine into one ball of light and then shot off into the distance at a amazing speed i told my wife and she doubted me the folowing morning on the radio 2 police men in south wales just across the water reported to have seen the exactly the same phonomenon.
