Swing On A Star

I remember a programme about a girl who talked to her dad through some kind of white triangular thing that shone red when it was open. I know this is a bit vague but I think the theme song was 'Swing On A Star'. Any ideas?

I vaguely remember this - it was on about twelve years ago on ITV in the morning during school holidays! I think her dad was an alien or away travelling in space (or some such nonsense) and she spoke to him through the triangle. Can't for the life of me think of the name of it though......sorry!

I used to love that show too! And the song they used for the theme tune still resounds in my head to this day.
