Basic Business Accounts
8 Answers
Do they actually exist? I am having problems finding a bank that provides a basic business account and not just personal accounts.
I am operating a franchise but am still paying off debts and therefore do not a good credit rating, however I need an account just to deposit funds and be able to make payments via cheque or on-line transfer. I have found most banks unhelpful and found it impossible to get advice from anywhere else.
Any info would be apprecaited. Thanks

If the link does not work, try

then scroll down to The Bank Action group against unlawful charges, scroll down to general, and look for Do you need a parachute account - it was posted by Barracad

Have you thought of asking Federation of Small Businesses if they have any ideas.

Hi Ferpo
After advice I am trying Natwest it is best to apply on line under business day to day accounts, click on the apply and go through application - they have a section where it asks if you have any adverse credit. I have not heard yet as only applied last Friday but hopefully should get a debit card and cheque book.
Will let you know.
