Feathers?

What is the significance of feathers falling in front of you? And do different colour feathers, ie, white, grey and black, have different meanings?

I'm sure w hite feather falling to the ground means a passed loved one is about. and when brown, black and white fall down its duck season. :-)

yes I always thought it meant and angel is around you

usually means that a pigeon has just been struck by a passing car and you are the unfortunate one to get the fallout

Because I saw a question on here a few days ago, I canniot find it again though, asking something very similar and my sister asked me the other day about falling feathers

Yes if someone close dies, it is possible to get a white feather a few days later, apparently it means they are still around, but if you find one in the bedroom you have been puffing the pillows up too vigorously! Obviously not in the garden either !!
