The Wiki site is good for the constituent parts, but doesn't really help with the pronunciation. If you want to buy the ingredients, Waitrose sells the cachacha. You can buy sugar syrup under the name 'Gomme' from better wine and spirit dealers or you can make it yourself. Any recipe book will give you a basic sugar syrup recipe.
i recently went to brazil and its an absolutely amazing drink. Firstly take some unrefined/brown sugar and grind with the end of a rolling pin or muddler. add a whole lime cut into wedges and crush with the sugar. then grind some ice in a hand grinder or blender. Add the lime and sugar to a small glass approx 9.5ounces and fill the glass to the top with the crushed ice. then top the glass with cachaca - approx 50ml/double measure. and ENJOY!!!
