who actually votes for these things i know its supposed to be the publice but how can the best soap( or whatever its classed as now) be the top when the ratings show otherwise???

I`m amazed at the stories of Coronation Street bosses etc walking out of the Royal Albert Hall because they did not win. In the past, when they have won `Best soap`, they have gone on about how grateful they were because it is the only one of these awards voted on solely by the viewers. Therefore last night, the viewers have spoken.
