Celebrities who can do no wrong

There is this frightening trust that people place in some celebrities which results in a situation where it is assumed that the person can do no wrong. For eg: no one will be willing to believe that the Dalai Lama (purely as an example) could do some wrong. Are there any other names that come to mind where any accusation of impropriety, however cerdible and proven, will never be given any serious consideration. I would like to start off with the cult of Nelson Mandela, Tony Blair, Paul McCartney. Any other suggestions.
