I am an australian and have been living in the UK for over 12 months. I have been told that my aussie drivers license is no longer vaild and that I have to apply for a British one. Is this true and if so, how do I go about it?

You can telephone between 08.15 am abd 4.30pm Mon to Friday. Driving Licence Enquiries on 01792 772151......... or write to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BN. Hope this helps

I have already been on the phone to the DVLA and to their website. It was proving quite difficult to get a straight answer so I thought I would try this sight. Thanks anyway.
