has anyone had this and how long was your recovery.I've just spent 1 month in hospital with this, caused by gallstones.I'm home now but am terrified of a reaccurance,how can I prevent this.My gall bladder has been removed 9 day's ago.

you poor thing i believe but check with a health professional, that if the pancreatitis was caused by gallstones and they have now been removed it should not reoccur hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the reply.I'm doing ok thanks. I hope it doesn't reaccur because the pain was unimaginable.I'm going to my GP on Monday so will hopefully get the reassurance I'm looking for. xxx
