Old Rose relocation

I have a friend who. for sentimental reasons has to re-locate an approx 20yr old bush. Can anyone link me to a graphic 'how-to' that I can print out?

I can't locate a graphic, as you've requested, but it's fairly simple. Assure the rose is dormant. From about now (if you've had low temepratures of under 32 degrees F for several nights) until before spring. Prune the rose quite a lot. It can be cut back to about 2 feet above the ground or so. Dig the rose up with about 6 inches or so of earth surrounding where it comes up. Dig down about 2 feet to get as much of the roots as possible. Put the whole thing on a plastic or burlap sack and bind it up with some stout string. Prepare the new hole about double the width of the previous one and then line it with some peat moss. Add just a little (about a double handfull) of a good rose fertilizer. Fill the hole with dirt and tamp it down firmly so as to eliminate air pockets. Pour at least a gallon of water into the base of the rose. When warm weather sets in, water the rose profusely... at least a gallon every other day... It'll do fine...
