Hi Brenda.Not good hun.I have just this morning had a call from my doctor - my blood tests have come back and I now have Hashimoto's disease as well.Think I just need a big hole and a shovel.x

Oh Pinkfizz I am so sorry you are feeling so low. I have thyroid trouble as well, underactive,hence the weight not coming off.! Like me you can now it get it treated. Better they found out now. I feel like I need putting down with the tablets I take each day for one thing or another. Are you feeling any better in yourself? I really hope you are. This time of year is so depressing so that is not a great help is it.? Love and a big hug to you, hope you feel brighter soon. love Brenda xx

Hi Brenda.Well one one hand I am feeling very down - we have so many personal and work stresses at the moment that this is the last thing I need.But on the other hand it does explain some things that have made no sense at all for the past few months - a sudden weight gain over just over a stone when I am not eating any more whatsoever,bags under my eyes,always feeling tired,the swollen tummy.So in a way it all slots into place.I was going to joing a slimming club this week but i think I will now wait and see how I get on with the medication.Thanks so much for thinking of me.xx

Many thanks for your reply. It is strange because I have just agreed to join slimming world with my friend next wednesday.We will have to keep in touch on how we get on. Just fingers crossed these stupid thyroids will let me lose some weight.I do not over eat as it is as I am alwas thinking of my weight.Before I started having my trouble I had lost 3 stones and was only doing that on weight watchers online. And now I have it all back again. Sorry to hear you are having problems at the moment, that really will not help how you feel.Just think on the bright side your prescription will be free from now on.Thats how my doctor tried to cheer me up.! good news and then the bad.!
