depot injection

i started taking the depot 9 months ago and was having regular periods every six weeks but on my last injection i was a week late in getting it and as ive not been using other contraception im a bit worried as ive not had a period since 2 weeks before my last injection which was 3 months ago. should i take a test or am i worrying over nothing

I wouldn't worry, it often stops your periods completely. When I came off it it took a year for me to get a period because it pumps your body with so many hormones. Get a test to put your mind at rest, then celebrate getting rid of the blasted things. Watch your weight though bcos i put on 3 stone on it and had to come off it, but then again i am a greedy thing.
