What would dominate Earth if humans weren't here?

If there were no humans on this planet, what would be the most prolific/dominant thing on Earth? Would it some form of plant life? Aquatic? Insect?

Actually, bacteria are the most prolific and abundant thing on Earth, not humans. If humans all died out, there would be very little impact. If bacteria all died out, life on this planet would essentially all end.
