BodyShock: the mermaid girl

Has a anybody else just watched this? (i know this should be in another category but things get more answers here). Did anyone else think it was totally wrong and actually disgusting when the surgeon was operating on the little girl whilst complaining the camera's weren't right or something? i thought that was just totally unprofessional. But i do think that it has something to do with the country it was in, i dont think it would have all been filmed (esp. the op.) and stuff if it had been in England or America.

Yes I did. I felt glad for the child who would not have had much of a future otherwise and angry at the way the parents were used as propaganda. Tha medical team seemed more interested in self publicity and electioneering than the feelings of a quite primitive family.
Did you by any chance see the savant pianist the day before? I felt a bit uneasy about that too. No doubt he was brilliant but the younger child did not seem happy to be on show to all.
