Christmas Presents for boss
4 Answers
Hiya,
Hope you can help.... there are 3 managers in my department, 2 of which are great - very supportive, really great people, both from professional point of view and on a friendship level. The other is a jumped up little kn0b, who loves the 'power' of being a manager - needless to say he's annoying and everyone sees right through him.
Anyway, my problem - I want to get the two great managers a little something for xmas, something that shows my appreciation for their support throughout the last year, but I'm not sure what - any ideas?
I dont want something mushy which looks as those I'm doing it to get a promotion (cos I'm not) or something which looks like I havent thought about something special (ie. a bottle of wine)....
As for the 3rd manager, I dont want to seem like I am being petty by not buying him anything, BUT i really dont like him, or respect him - plus if I did get him something I'd feel like a right hypercript (sp?).
Please help!
Thanks

I was extremely touched by the gesture, as both items were very tasteful and had clearly had some thought put into them.
I know that they did not spend more than about 30 all in, so that wouldn't break the bank, to get one the links and the other the tie, maybe?
As for the other jumed up, little d1ck - I would love to believe that you send him that Cactus anonymously (leave his name and address on here, i'll send it!!), that would be great. Failing that, give each boss their presents seperately and only give the one you dislike a multi-pack card and a smile - he cannot fault you, particularly if, when you give the other two the gifts, you tell them WHY you have done it - for all their support, etc.
When / if the idiot finds out, he will not have wonder why you did it and may even start to mature a bit!!
Good luck!
