ok she files for divorce and its contested on grounds that most of what are in the files are lies. 2 years later the she wants a divorce. Does she start a new case or does his divorce case still stand if he went through with the divorce preceedings once she detested it?

Seek professional legal advice on this. Generally, though, apply for the existing petition to be dismissed, then make a fresh application to the court in the form of a new petition. Having said that if the first petition was contested then she would need to think seriously about what grounds she wanted the divorce on and make sure the facts were correct before filing again otherwise she could be in the same position as before.

Oops i meant that he filed for a divorce with mostly lies in it. But thanks...all this he/she is confusing!.
presumably if she relies on the fact that they have been separated for 2 years and he consents he woudln't dispute it as he already tried to file a divorce petition. she shoudl get legal advice tho if possible as the lies etc coudl have an influence on any financial orders.
